We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to work on the My1Login cloud infrastructure and services encompassing DevOps initiatives. The role is best suited to a self-starter and a quick learner with a strong desire to learn and grow in all aspects of technology. Working outside the boundaries of the role is encouraged. Responsibilities

  • Building, maintaining and improving the cloud infrastructure and services to maintain our secure, elastically scalable and globally distributed cloud architecture continues to support the ongoing needs of our customers
  • Supporting company IT services and the administration of key systems
  • Putting security, availability and resiliency top of the agenda
  • Working with the Developers and QA to drive efficient DevOps pipelines supporting the efficient delivery of high quality features
  • Ensuring compliance with the Governance processes and procedures which ensure the uptime, availability, scalability, security and resilience of the My1Login service
  • Maintaining an operational dashboard and MI reports
  • Monitoring and looking for opportunities to reduce cloud services costs
  • Contributing to improvements in security, DevOps processes and compliance
  • Supporting at least 99.9% availability on the My1Login Cloud Service
  • Supporting best practice across deployment, infrastructure, metrics and logging
  • Engaging in pre-sales and customer driven activities as required by the business
  • Keeping up to date with changes in the technology industry
  • Participating in the out of hours process and customer support related duties

Required Skills

  • Good operational knowledge
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working on cloud-based production services
  • Experience of Networking, DNS, O365, Deployment and lifecycle tools (e.g. Azure DevOps) or related technologies
  • Understanding of Operational Dashboards
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
  • Experience developing build pipelines
  • Good understanding of security principals

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Azure
  • Experience driving process or practice improvement within a team
  • Previous experience in the cyber-security industry

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a related role
  • Computer Science or similar technical degree; In lieu of degree, relevant skills and equivalent experience
