My1Login is the UK’s leading, multi-award-winning Identity and Access Management service that enables seamless user access to web, mobile and Windows desktop applications delivering operational savings and protecting businesses against the financial and reputational damage of a data breach.

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with experience in Microsoft Azure to join our tech team in Glasgow.

Responsibilities include management of our Azure cloud, assurance of service availability, security and resilience in addition to shaping our cloud environment to ensure the appropriate scale and use of technologies. The role also incorporates management of corporate IT services such as O365, internal infrastructure and procurement.

This is a critical role within the organisation and presents an exceptional opportunity to the successful candidate to work on and help shape the future of a SaaS product.

Location: Based in Glasgow with requirement for occasional travel within the UK and potentially overseas.


  • Managing, maintaining and governing the processes and procedures which ensure the uptime, availability, scalability, security and resilience of the My1Login service
  • Creating and managing an operational dashboard and MI reports
  • Managing the internal network, internal and cloud infrastructure and the company IT function
  • Ensuring appropriate cost management of our cloud services
  • Ensuring appropriate group policies and permission are in place across services
  • Ensuring the My1Login service maintains at least 99.99% availability
  • Ensuring the security of all services and infrastructure
  • Liaising with vendors and service providers
  • Supporting best practice across deployment, infrastructure, metrics and logging
  • Engaging in pre-sales and customer driven activities as required by the business
  • Keeping up to date with changes in the technology industry
  • Supporting a robust, resilient, secure and available service for our customers
  • Participating in the out of hours process and customer support related duties
  • Supporting management initiatives as required

Required Skills

  • Excellent operational knowledge
  • Customer facing experience
  • Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good experience in Azure, Networking / DNS, O365, Deployment and lifecycle tools (e.g. Octopus Deploy, JIRA, Confluence)
  • Previous experience managing a cloud-based production service
  • Experience developing Operational Dashboards, KPI’s and metrics
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
  • Experience developing automated deployment
  • Hands on experience with DNS and firewalls
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based technologies
  • Good understanding of application and service security

Desired Skills

  • Experience with AWS
  • Hands on experience with Route 53
  • Experience driving process or practice improvement within a team
  • Previous development experience in the IAM or other tech security industry

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Computing Science, or similar, degree
  • 3 years’ relevant experience
